The ForCES Protocol Design team is a closed team chartered with creating a draft proposal of a ForCES protocol specification..

This design team corresponds via a mailing list. The archives of the list may be examined by visiting the publicly available list archives at https://www1.ietf.org/mail-archive/working-groups/forces-protocol/. They also (of course) respond to issues on the main ForCES list at forces@peach.ease.lsoft.com.

The design team is using the following set of milestones:

1. Before April 9th,

a. initial outline done Done

b. decide whether and how we use XML and/or CVS Done – using XML, no CVS

2. Before April 30th,

a. Work out a final and detailed outline, and complete discussion of major issues

b. Distribute sections for individual writing

3. a. Complete writing of each sections - May' 20th

b. Distribute sections for internal review - May'21st

c. Incorporate sections and comments from protocol team - June 1st

4. Send to ForCES mailing list for external review - June 2nd

5. Submission to IETF - June 15^th Done – submitted draft-fpteam-forces-protocol-00.txt on June 22, 2004.
