ForCES Meeting Summary, IETF 57

ForCES met at IETF 57 for two hours with an attendance
of approximately sixty people.  WG status was presented -
the framework and requirements have had small updates
made in response to AD/IESG feedback, with new revisions
to be published soon, then on to IESG review.  The
model individual draft was presented and received strong
support for inclusion as a WG document - the chairs 
indicated they would verify this consensus on the mailing
list.  The NetLink2 and FACT protocol proposals where
presented, and the chairs indicated that it was time to
begin discussion of what the protocol selection process
should be.  Finally, a demonstration was given of a pre-
association phase protocol implementation.  While there
was interest in the work, the comments made in the room
suggested deferring work on this part of the framework
until the main ForCES protocol effort progresses further.
