Subject: ForCES Meeting Summary, IETF 55

ForCES met at IETF 55 for approximately one hour.  In
addition to the Requirements and Netlink drafts, which
had previously gone to last call and been forwarded to
the ADs, the Framework completed last call on the day
of the meeting.  This draft had previously been subject
to significant feedback and editing and received only 
minor changes during the last call period and is
expected to be forwarded to the ADs for review soon. An 
individual contribution of the model was presented again 
(rev -01) and the authors requested that the document be 
accepted as a WG document.  While the document had 
significantly progressed, the chairs did not accept the 
document due to an insufficient number of people present 
who had fully read and understood the model.  The chairs 
then announced a call for protocol contributions, with 
the intention that model discussions would be better 
informed if done in conjunction with analysis and 
discussion of protocol proposals.
