Summary of ForCES WG Meeting at IETF 52

The ForCES working group met at IETF 52 and reviewed several
key documents. Changes to the WG requirements document were
presented and accepted, however, after discussion it was decided
that one more rev was needed before last call.  An individual
contribution of an applicability statement was presented and
accepted as a working group draft.  An individual contribution
of a framework/model was also presented and met with strong
interest but was not accepted as a WG document due to its
newness and lack of time for proper review. At the end of
the meeting some discussion was held about WG scope. CE to CE
communication (e.g. how to perform distributed BGP RIB/FIB
computation) was mentioned as out of scope, however, designing
the CE/FE protocol with considerations so that such distributed
computations would be feasible was accepted as a possibility.
Also discussed was the possibility of examining FE to FE
communications.
