09/30/2004 The working group mailing list and meeting at IETF60 both achieved rough consensus around a compromise proposal for a ForCES protocol. The proposal has been accepted as a working group document as draft-ietf-forces-protocol-00.txt. 1 2

 

07/13/2004 A revised ForCES Protocol design team draft has been uploaded, draft-doria-forces-protocol-01.txt. The new version includes a previously missing protocol scenarios section. 1

 

07/12/2004 A new draft, draft-blake-forces-attrib-00.txt, has been submitted that proposes extensions/changes to certain aspects of the current ForCES model proposal.

 

07/10/2004 A new draft proposal for ForCES CE/FE binding and topology discovery has been proposed, draft-ansari-forces-discovery-00.txt. This item would represent a new deliverable of the ForCES working group, and as such, the working group should review it in that light. 1

 

06/25/2004 A new protocol has been proposed for selection as the ForCES protocol, draft-audu-forces-PL-00.txt. The WG needs to review this document and the draft-fpteam-forces-protocol-00.txt document and comment to the mailing list as to which draft (if either) to select as a WG document.

 

06/22/2004 The ForCES Protocol design team has made available the first draft of the merged ForCES protocol proposal, draft-fpteam-forces-protocol-00.txt. Please review this draft and comment on the mailing list whether this draft is ready for adoption as a WG document or not. 1

 

04/29/2004 The ForCES Framework has issued as RFC 3746. 1

 

04/27/2004 Due to the high volume of non-subscriber spam, the ForCES mailing list policies have been updated to automatically reject non-subscriber emails. 1

 

04/07/2004 The ForCES Protocol Design Team has provided a set of milestones and will be delivering a draft protocol proposal by June 2, 2004. 1

 

03/31/2003 A new ForCES Protocol Design Team has been created to come up with a draft proposal for the ForCES protocol. 1

 

03/22/2004 The ForCES Protocol Analysis Design Team has reported out a recommendation for a merged ForCES proposal. 1

 

03/02/2004 The ForCES working group met at IETF 59 in Seoul, South Korea. The chairperson meeting summary is now available, as are some of the presentations. 1

 

02/19/2004 An open design team has been announced for the purpose of reviewing the existing protocol proposals to see if a common, merged proposal is practical. 1
